1. Attend the 60-hour Pre-Exam Course
Choose one or choose them all.

- Classroom
2. Submit your application to the Mississippi Real Estate Commission.
- Attach your Certificate of Completion from the Real Estate Training Institute.
- Include your application fee.
- Yopu have 10 days aftyer you pass the exam to find a broker.
3. Schedule your exam with the national testing company, PSI.
4. Submit your fingerprints.
You can take the exam without your fingerprints submitted but get this step done ASAP.
5. Pass the Exam.
Bring two forms of identification.
- Salespersons: Pass the Exam with a 70% on the General Portion and a 75% on the state exam.
- Brokers: Pass the Exam with a 75% on the General Portion and a 80% on the state exam.
6. Find a broker and activate your license.
